The Köfererhof dates back to 976 and is one of the oldest wineries in South Tyrol. Today, large white plants with unmistakable elegance and minerality, as typical as they are unique for the Eisacktal wine-growing region, are produced here. With a total of 6 hectares of vineyards, we are a small but fine winery that specializes in producing excellent white wines. The height of our terraced vineyards at 650 to 700 m above sea level and the natural and climatic conditions that surround us challenge us every day: with a harsh mountain climate, extreme temperature differences between day and night, long winters and correspondingly later ripening. But the result is worth all the effort. Because these are excellent conditions for our seven white grape varieties to grow their strong characters in peace.
